Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc Rooms, Suites and Pool Villas: Which to Book

Most guests should book a 45 m² Deluxe room and choose it by view — garden, pool, mountain or sea — because the size, beds and bathroom are the same. Step up to a 90 m² suite for a separate living room, the 105 m² loft apartment for a kitchen, or a pool villa if you are six or more.

Each room type, and who it suits

Deluxe room with a king bed, carved headboard, wooden floor and a balcony looking over palms towards the sea

45 m² · Garden view · King or twin

Deluxe Room

The standard room, and by far the most common at the resort: 45 m² with a balcony, a bathtub and a separate shower, a wooden floor and a sofa corner. The outlook is the gardens and paths; from higher floors some rooms catch a strip of sea.

Book it if you will spend the day at the pool, the beach or the parks and want a full-size room for less. Skip it if a sea or pool view is the point of the trip — book that category by name.

Deluxe room with a king bed, wooden floor and a balcony over the lagoon pool and palm gardens

45 m² · Lagoon pool view · King or twin

Deluxe Pool View

The same room, with the balcony facing the lagoon pool and its palm island. You see the pool life all day, and in the afternoon you hear it too.

Book it if you travel with children and like to keep an eye on the pool from the balcony. Skip it if you like an afternoon siesta, or quiet before the pool shuts at 7 pm.

Deluxe room with a king bed, grey tufted headboard, blue rug and glass doors to a balcony facing the sea

45 m² · Sea view · King or twin

Deluxe Room Sea View

The same 45 m² layout with the balcony facing the Gulf of Thailand and the sunset. The resort’s factsheet lists only 11 of these rooms, so they are the first Deluxe category to go in the dry season.

Book it if a sunset from your own balcony is the reason you chose the west coast. Skip it if you are booking late for Christmas or Tet — look at the Sea View Suite instead.

Sea-view suite bedroom with a tufted headboard, upholstered stools and a window over gardens and the sea

90 m² · Garden or sea view · King

One Bedroom Suite and Sea View Suite

Twice the space of a Deluxe room: a bedroom, a separate living room and a large bathroom with a bathtub. The One Bedroom Suite looks over the gardens, the Sea View Suite over the water.

Book it if you stay a week or more, or want a door between you and a sleeping child. Skip it if you need two proper bedrooms — a villa or two rooms will work better.

Top-floor suite bedroom with a carved headboard, cream walls and framed pictures beside the bed

Top floor · Up to 145 m² · King

One Bedroom Sky Suite

When the resort opened in 2018 it announced 17 Sky Suites on the eighth floor, the top of the main building. Expect a large bedroom and lounge with high views; size and outlook vary from suite to suite.

Book it if you want the highest outlook in the resort. Skip it if you need a guaranteed sea view — get the outlook confirmed by email before paying.

Loft living room with a beige sofa, marble floor and glass doors opening onto a palm garden

105 m² · Garden terrace · King + sofa bed

One Bedroom Apartment (loft)

Ground-floor units with a full kitchen, a six-seat dining table and glass doors onto a private garden terrace. The resort calls them loft suites and has only 12.

Book it if you want to cook breakfast for the children or stay more than five nights. Skip it if you want a sea view or an upper-floor balcony.

Double-height villa living room with a chandelier, white sofas and tall windows onto the garden

165–252 m² · Private pool · Two or three bedrooms

Two and Three Bedroom Villas

Beachfront villas with a private pool, a double-height living room, a kitchen and a dining area. There are only nine across both sizes, set on the lawns in front of the main building.

Book it if you are two families, or six or more friends, who want to share a pool. Skip it if you are a couple — a Sea View Suite gives you the view without paying for space you will not use.

How to get the room you want at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc

01

Book the view, not a request

A view written in a note is never guaranteed. If you want the sea or the pool, book the Sea View or Pool View category by name.

02

Match by size, not by name

Booking sites rename rooms. 45 m² is a Deluxe, 90 m² a suite and 105 m² the loft apartment, whatever the label says.

03

Ask for a higher floor

Upper floors of the main building see further over the gardens and towards the sea. Add it as a request; it is not guaranteed.

Honest note

The rooms are classic in style — carved headboards, wooden floors, separate bath and shower — rather than modern and minimal. Mountain View rooms look at neighbouring resort buildings as much as at the hills, and pool-view balconies are lively until the pool closes.

Questions about rooms at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc

Do all Radisson Blu Phu Quoc rooms have a balcony?

Yes. Every room and suite in the main building has a private balcony, according to the resort’s factsheet, usually with two rattan chairs and a small table. The loft apartments on the ground floor have garden terraces instead, and the villas open onto their own pools. Balconies on pool-view rooms are the liveliest during the day.

Do Radisson Blu rooms have a bathtub as well as a shower?

Yes. Deluxe rooms have both a bathtub and a separate glass-walled shower, and the suites have a larger bathroom with a tub and double basins. The villas have bathtubs too, some set by a window. If stepping into a tub is difficult, ask for an accessible room when you book; the resort says accessible rooms are available.

Are there connecting rooms at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?

The resort does not publish which rooms connect, so treat connecting rooms as on request. Book two rooms of the same category in one reservation, add a note asking for connecting or neighbouring rooms, and email the hotel a week before arrival. If it cannot be confirmed, a suite or the loft apartment keeps a family under one door.

Is the Deluxe King or the Deluxe Twin better for two adults and a child?

The twin set-up usually works better: booking pages list two semi-double beds, wide enough for an adult and a small child each, so you avoid paying for an extra bed. The king set-up suits couples, or parents with a baby in a free cot. Both are the same 45 m² room, so the choice is only about the beds.

Which room types at Radisson Blu have a kitchen?

Only the One Bedroom Apartment, which the resort calls its loft suite, and the pool villas have full kitchens with a fridge, a microwave and a dining table. Deluxe rooms and suites have a minibar, a kettle and tea and coffee things. Grand World, under 1 km away, has shops for stocking up during a loft or villa stay.

Is a Sea View room worth the extra over a standard Deluxe at Radisson Blu?

If you will use the balcony at sunset, yes: it is the same room with the best outlook, and there are only about 11 of them. If you will be at the parks all day and back after dark, the standard Deluxe gives you the same space and bathroom, and the beach is a few minutes’ walk away for the sunset anyway.

Your room, your dates, the live price
