What each facility is really like
One large pool · Children’s pool
The lagoon pool
The pool curves around a palm-planted island in front of the main building, crossed by a wooden footbridge, with a shallow children’s pool alongside. Loungers and parasols line the edge, and Azure pool bar serves drinks from mid-morning.
Good for families who will spend most of the day by the water. Less good for lap swimmers — it is a leisure pool shaped for lounging, not for lengths.

Bai Dai beach
The resort’s section of Bai Dai has loungers, thatched parasols, hammocks under the palms, towels and a beach bar at sunset. Kayaks, paddleboards and snorkel gear are free from 6 am to 5 pm when the sea is calm.
Good for sunsets and calm-sea swimming from November to March. Less good for June to September, when waves can close the water sports.

Giggles Kids Club
A bright indoor club with jungle murals, a soft-carpet play area and craft tables, running arts and crafts and games every day, plus outdoor activities. Under-3s stay with a parent; babysitting costs extra.
Good for parents who want an hour or two to themselves. Less good for toddlers under 3 without a parent.

Avenue and Annex
Avenue is the main restaurant, with long buffet counters and an open kitchen for breakfast and themed dinners. Annex is the lounge for lunch, small plates, wine and cocktails until 10 pm. Both list vegetarian options.
Good for easy family meals without leaving the resort. Less good for food lovers — Grand World and Duong Dong have far more variety.

Azure pool and beach bars
Azure runs the pool bar, a thatched bar beside the lagoon pool, and a beach bar timed for the sunset. Expect cocktails, smoothies and light snacks; the resort has offered a sundown package for the golden hour.
Good for a drink with the sunset without leaving the sand. Less good for late nights — for those, Grand World and the casino are next door.

Spa and gym
The gym has treadmills, bikes and weight machines behind glass walls looking onto the gardens. The spa is run by an outside operator: current listings name Naia Spa, while older resort material mentions Akoya Spa in the neighbouring complex.
Good for a massage after a park day — book a day ahead. Less good for guests expecting a big spa inside the main building.

Facilities are open to every guest; whether breakfast or a meal plan is in depends on the option you pick.
Making the most of the facilities
01
Swim early
The pool opens at 6 am and is quietest before 9. By late morning in the dry season the loungers near the island fill up.
02
Kayak in the morning
The sea is calmest early. Afternoon breezes bring chop, and water sports stop at 5 pm.
03
Book the spa a day ahead
Treatment times fill in high season, and the spa is run separately, so book through the front desk the day before.
Honest note
With 514 rooms and one main pool, the pool and breakfast are busy over Christmas, Tet and the summer holidays. No adults-only pool or quiet zone is listed, so couples who want calm should come in the shoulder months.
Questions about facilities at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc
Is the pool at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc heated?
The resort does not advertise a heated pool, and in Phu Quoc’s climate it is rarely needed: the island averages about 28 °C through the year, according to the resort’s factsheet. Early mornings in December and January can feel cooler, but the water is still comfortable for most swimmers by mid-morning.
Do beach towels and loungers cost extra at Radisson Blu?
No. Beach towels, loungers and parasols are free for guests on the resort’s section of Bai Dai, and pool towels are handed out at the pool. Hammocks under the palms are first come, first served. You pay only for food and drinks from the beach and pool bars.
Which activities are free at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?
Kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkelling, beach volleyball, bicycles and the kids club are listed as free for guests. Cooking classes, mixology classes, fishing, diving and private beach dinners cost extra. The resort’s activity sheet has shown paid sessions at about VND 100,000–300,000 per person; ask for this week’s programme at check-in.
Are there tennis courts at Radisson Blu?
Yes. Booking listings show two outdoor tennis courts, and the resort’s own photos show a court among the trees. Ask the activities team about court times and racquets, and play early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the midday heat.
Can I borrow a bicycle at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?
Yes. Bicycles are free for guests, and the resort lists cycling from about 9 am to 5 pm. They are good for the paths around the gardens and for riding to Grand World, under 1 km away. For longer rides, take care on the main roads, where traffic moves fast.
Does Radisson Blu Phu Quoc host weddings and events?
Yes. The resort has event spaces including Alumi, an events lounge with its own garden, plus beach, pool and garden venues; its factsheet lists up to 300 guests for a buffet on the beach or by the pool. Larger conferences use the convention centre in the neighbouring complex. The resort’s events team handles quotes.
