Sunset on Bai Dai beach, Grand World a buggy ride away.
Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc is a five-star, 514-room beach resort on Bai Dai in the north-west of the island, next to Corona Casino and under 1 km from Grand World. It suits families and groups who want a big lagoon pool, a free kids club and villas with private pools, and do not mind being a drive from Duong Dong.
Quick facts
Radisson Blu at a glance
Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc is a large five-star beach resort: 514 rooms, suites and villas in an eight-storey main building and a row of pool villas, on its own stretch of Bai Dai beach in the north-west of the island. The lagoon pool and the sunset-facing beach are the real strengths. The trade-off is distance: Duong Dong town is about 17 km away, so evenings out mean Grand World next door or a taxi.
It fits families with children under 12, groups that need a villa, and anyone planning days at VinWonders and the Safari, both about 4 km away.

Why guests choose Radisson Blu
Three things decide it for most guests, and each one is easy to check before you book.
A lagoon pool with a palm island
The main pool curves around a planted island in front of the building, with a children’s pool beside it. It is listed as open from 6 am to 7 pm, so early swims are quiet.
Sunsets on a west-facing beach
Bai Dai faces the Gulf of Thailand, so the sun sets over open water in front of the loungers. From November to March the sea here is usually flat enough for the free kayaks and paddleboards.
Pool villas for big groups
Two- and three-bedroom villas of 165 m² and 252 m² have their own pools and kitchens. There are only nine of them, which is why they book out first for Christmas and Tet.
Which room to book at Radisson Blu
Most guests book a 45 m² Deluxe room, and the choice that really matters is the view: garden, pool, mountain or sea. Families who want to cook or spread out should look at the 105 m² loft apartments or the pool villas.
45 m² · Sea view · King or twin
Deluxe Room Sea View
Best for couples who came for the sunsets. The resort lists only 11 of these rooms, so they go first in the dry season.

Where is Radisson Blu?
Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc is on Bai Dai beach in Ganh Dau, the north-west corner of the island, in the same leisure district as Corona Casino, Grand World and VinWonders. You can walk or take the resort buggy to Grand World; for Duong Dong town, the night market or the southern beaches you need a car, a Grab or the resort shuttle.

Is Radisson Blu right for you?
No hotel suits everyone. This is who tends to love it, and who would be happier somewhere else.

Location & getting there6
Where exactly is Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc?
It is on Bai Dai beach in Ganh Dau, in the north-west of Phu Quoc island, about 31 km by road from the airport. The resort sits inside the large Bai Dai leisure district, next door to Corona Casino and under 1 km from Grand World. Since July 2025 Phu Quoc has been a special zone of An Giang province, so some booking pages show An Giang and others still show Kien Giang. It is the same place.
How do I get from Phu Quoc airport to Radisson Blu, and how long does it take?
Plan on 40–50 minutes by car for the roughly 31 km drive north. A metered taxi or a Grab car is the simplest option; route planners put a taxi at about USD 18–22 (October 2026 estimate). The resort can arrange a private car if you ask when you book, and some packages include a shared transfer on a fixed timetable. VinBus also runs from the airport to Grand World, but with luggage it is slow.
Can you walk from Radisson Blu to Grand World?
Yes. Grand World is about 0.9 km from the resort, according to the hotel’s own factsheet: roughly 15–20 minutes on foot, or about 5 minutes by the resort buggy. Most guests walk over in the late afternoon for the canal, shops and evening shows, then take the buggy or a Grab back. In the midday heat, ask the front desk for the buggy rather than walking.
How far is Radisson Blu from VinWonders and Vinpearl Safari?
VinWonders is about 3.9 km and Vinpearl Safari about 4.4 km from the resort by road, around 10–12 minutes by car according to the hotel’s factsheet. Both are in the same northern district, so a Grab or taxi ride is short. Visiting both in one day is possible but tiring with children; most families give each park its own day and come back to the pool in the afternoon.
How do I get from Radisson Blu to Duong Dong town and the night market?
Duong Dong is about 17 km south, roughly 25–30 minutes by car. The resort’s factsheet lists a shuttle bus to the Duong Dong night market of about 30 minutes; ask at the front desk for the current days and times. Otherwise a Grab or taxi costs roughly USD 12–15 each way (route-planner estimate, October 2026), and VinBus runs from Grand World towards town about every 15 minutes.
Is it easy to get a Grab or taxi from Radisson Blu at night?
Usually, yes. Grab and the electric Xanh SM taxis both operate on Phu Quoc, and the district around Grand World and Corona Casino has steady traffic until late. Waits get longer right after the evening shows at Grand World finish, when many people leave at once. If Grab shows no cars, ask reception to phone a taxi to the lobby.
Rooms, views and sizes5
Which rooms at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc actually face the sea?
Only rooms sold as Sea View, the Sea View Suites and the beachfront villas are booked for a sea outlook. The hotel’s factsheet lists just 11 Deluxe Sea View rooms out of more than 500 keys, so they sell out first. Standard Deluxe rooms face the gardens and may catch a strip of sea from higher floors; pool-view rooms look over the lagoon pool. If the view matters, book the named category rather than asking for it on arrival.
What does a Mountain View room at Radisson Blu actually look out on?
Mountain View rooms face inland. The hotel’s own photos show green hills on the horizon with neighbouring resort buildings and gardens in front, rather than open mountain scenery. They are the same 45 m² as the other Deluxe rooms and often the cheapest way into the resort. Choose one if you mostly sleep in the room; choose pool or sea view if you plan to use the balcony.
How big are the Deluxe rooms at Radisson Blu, and how many people do they sleep?
Every Deluxe room is about 45 m² with a balcony, a bathtub and a separate shower, and comes with one king bed or two beds. Booking sites allow up to four guests, which means two adults and two children in the existing beds or an extra bed for a third adult, at a charge. A family of four with older children usually fits better in a suite, the loft apartment or two rooms.
What is the difference between a One Bedroom Suite and a Sea View Suite at Radisson Blu?
Both are 90 m² suites with a separate living room, a king bed and a large bathroom with a bathtub and double basins. The One Bedroom Suite is listed with a garden view; the Sea View Suite faces the water. The extra space is worth it for a week-long stay or with one young child who needs to sleep while you sit up; ask about a rollaway bed when you book.
What is a Sky Suite at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?
Sky Suites are one-bedroom suites on the top, eighth floor of the main building. When the resort opened in 2018 it announced 17 of them at up to 145 m², which makes them the highest rooms with the widest outlook. Sizes and views vary between units, so read the room description on the booking page and ask the hotel to confirm the view before you pay.
Villas & loft apartments4
Do the villas at Radisson Blu have private pools?
Yes. The two- and three-bedroom villas are beachfront pool villas, each with its own private pool, a living room, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. They stand on lawns in front of the main building, so the lagoon pool, beach and restaurants are a short walk away. The resort lists 165 m² for the two-bedroom villa and 252 m² for the three-bedroom villa.
How many people can stay in a Radisson Blu pool villa?
Booking sites list the Two Bedroom Villa for up to eight guests and the Three Bedroom Villa for up to twelve, which counts sofa beds and extra beds on top of the bedrooms. In practice the two-bedroom villa sleeps four adults comfortably and the three-bedroom villa six, plus children. The resort allows at most two extra beds per villa, and each one is charged for every night.
Is there a six-bedroom villa at Radisson Blu?
Yes, one. The resort’s factsheet lists a single Six Bedroom Villa of 635 m², by far the largest unit on site. It rarely appears on general booking pages, so large groups should search their dates and, if it does not show, contact the resort’s reservations team. Two or three smaller villas side by side can be easier to find for the same headcount.
What is the One Bedroom Apartment at Radisson Blu, and does it have a kitchen?
It is a 105 m² ground-floor unit with a separate bedroom, a living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a private garden terrace. The resort calls these its loft suites, and its factsheet lists only 12. It suits a family of three or four who want to make breakfast for the children or stay a week; the trade-off is a garden outlook rather than a sea view.
Pool, beach & facilities5
What are the pool hours at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc, and is there a children’s pool?
The lagoon pool is listed as open from 6 am to 7 pm, with a separate children’s pool beside it, and children under 11 must have an adult with them in the water. The pool curves around a planted island and has a pool bar, Azure, serving drinks and snacks from about 10 am to 6 pm. Early morning and the last hour before closing are the quietest times.
Is the beach at Radisson Blu private, and can you swim there all year?
The resort has its own section of Bai Dai with loungers, parasols and towels for guests. Swimming is best from November to March, when the sea on this west-facing coast is usually flat. From May to September the south-west monsoon brings waves and rain, roughest from June to September; on rough days, follow the beach staff’s advice and use the pool instead.
Are kayaks and paddleboards free at Radisson Blu?
Yes. The resort lists kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and snorkelling among its free activities, usually from 6 am to 5 pm when the sea allows. Fishing trips, diving and private beach dinners cost extra. On days with waves, staff may close water sports, and mornings tend to be the calmest time to go out.
Is there a spa and a gym at Radisson Blu?
Yes, but both are run by outside operators rather than by the resort itself. Current listings name the spa Naia Spa, while older resort material refers to Akoya Spa in the neighbouring complex, so check where your treatment will be before you book it. Treatments are charged separately; in high season, book a day ahead through the front desk.
Can Radisson Blu guests visit Corona Casino next door?
Foreign guests aged 21 and over can enter Corona Casino with a passport; the first visit registers you for a membership card. Vietnamese citizens may enter only under a pilot scheme with income checks and an entry fee. The casino is a short walk from the resort, and flip-flops and sandals are not allowed. It is a separate business, so spending there does not go on your room bill.
Food & breakfast4
What is breakfast like at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc, and what time does it run?
Breakfast is a buffet at Avenue, the main restaurant, with long counters, an open kitchen and seats on a terrace by the pool. It starts at 6:30 am; listings disagree on the finish, giving 10 am or 11 am, so check the time at check-in. If you book room-only, the walk-in breakfast was listed at about VND 562,000 for adults in October 2026, so a breakfast-included rate is often better value.
What restaurants and bars are there at Radisson Blu?
There are four venues: Avenue for breakfast, buffets and all-day dining; Annex, a lounge with small plates and wine from 11 am to 10 pm; Azure, which covers the pool bar and the beach bar at sunset; and Alumi, used for events. In-room dining runs 24 hours. For more choice, the restaurants of Grand World are a short walk or buggy ride away.
Is there vegetarian or halal food at Radisson Blu?
The resort lists vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options at Annex, and the breakfast buffet always has fruit, eggs, breads and vegetable dishes. Halal-certified food is not something the resort advertises, so ask the hotel before you book if you need it; Grand World’s restaurants add more choice. For allergies, tell the restaurant team at your first meal.
Is there an all-inclusive option at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?
Sometimes, as an add-on rather than the standard rate. Packages seen in 2026 bundled breakfast, one other meal a day and a set window of free-flow drinks, with spa treatments and park tickets extra. Whether a meal plan appears depends on your dates and the booking channel, so read the rate descriptions on the booking page before you choose.
Families & children4
Do children stay free at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?
Children under 12 stay free when they use the existing beds, under the resort’s family policy. Breakfast is free for children under 6, and children aged 6 to 11 pay half the adult price, according to a Vietnamese travel agency’s listing of the hotel rules. An extra bed for a child is listed at about VND 1,035,000 for each night with breakfast. Check the child ages on your booking, because booking sites use their own age bands.
Is there a kids club at Radisson Blu, and from what age?
Yes. Giggles Kids Club takes children aged 3 to 12 and is free for guests. It runs arts and crafts, games and outdoor play through the day, roughly from 9 am to 5 pm. Children under 3 need a parent with them, and babysitting can be arranged for an extra charge if you ask the front desk a day ahead.
Which room at Radisson Blu fits a family of four?
With two adults and two small children, a 45 m² Deluxe room with two beds works for short stays. For more space, the 90 m² suites or the 105 m² loft apartment with a kitchen give you a separate living room. Families with teenagers usually book two Deluxe rooms or a two-bedroom villa, because an extra bed costs more than many expect.
Can I get a cot at Radisson Blu, and is the resort easy with a pushchair?
Cots are free on request, but there are only so many, so note it under special requests at the time of booking and confirm it by email a few days before arrival. The resort is flat and spread out, with paved paths linking the main building, pool, beach and villas, so a pushchair is easy to use; lifts serve every floor of the main building.
Check-in, deposit and house rules5
When is check-in and check-out at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?
Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out by 12 noon. Early check-in and late check-out are charged: a travel-agency listing of the hotel policy gives half the room price for staying until 6 pm and the full price after that. Tell the hotel your arrival time the day before; if your room is not ready, you can leave your bags and use the pool.
How much is the deposit at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?
The resort asks for a deposit of VND 5,000,000 per room at check-in, by credit card or in cash. It covers the minibar, room service and any damage, and is released after check-out once the room has been checked. A card hold can take up to 14 days to disappear from your statement, depending on your bank, so bring a card with enough limit.
Why does Radisson Blu ask for my passport at check-in?
Every hotel in Vietnam has to report each foreign guest’s stay to the local police as a temporary-residence declaration. Reception therefore scans every passport, including children’s, and checks your visa or entry stamp. The passport is normally handed back straight away. If you flew directly into Phu Quoc on the island’s visa exemption, your entry stamp is what they need to see.
Can I leave my luggage at Radisson Blu after check-out?
Yes. Luggage storage at the front desk is free, before check-in and after check-out. Guests on evening flights often store their bags, spend the afternoon at the pool or in Grand World, and leave about two and a half hours before an international departure, allowing 50 minutes for the drive. A shower after check-out is not guaranteed, so ask at the front desk.
Does Radisson Blu Phu Quoc allow pets?
No. Pets are not allowed at the resort, and booking listings add that service animals are not accepted either. The main guest on the reservation must be at least 18 years old. If you travel with a pet, look for a private villa rental elsewhere on the island and get its pet rules in writing before you pay.
When to go3
What is the best month to stay at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?
December to March is the best time for the beach here: dry weather, a flat sea on the west coast and sunsets over open water most evenings. It is also the busiest and most expensive period, especially around Christmas and Tet. Early April and November are good compromises, with mostly fine weather and quieter pools.
When is the rainy season on Phu Quoc, and how does it affect a stay at Radisson Blu?
The wet season runs from about May to October, with August and September the wettest months. Rain usually comes in short, heavy bursts in the afternoon or evening rather than all day. On this west-facing coast the south-west monsoon brings waves from June to September, so sea swimming may be off on some days, while the pool, the kids club and the nearby parks keep running.
How far ahead should I book Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?
For Christmas, New Year and Tet, book three to four months ahead, especially for sea-view rooms, suites and villas, which are few. For the rest of the dry season, six to eight weeks is usually enough for a Deluxe room. In the rainy season you can often book a week or two ahead. Choose a refundable rate if your flights are not fixed yet.
