Passport registration

Hotels in Vietnam must register foreign guests’ temporary residence with the police, so reception scans every passport, including children’s, and checks your visa or entry stamp. Passports are handed back straight away.

Plan for keeping every passport in your hand luggage for check-in. Avoid packing them in a suitcase that goes to your room before you reach the desk.

Breakfast and meal plans

Breakfast is included in some rates and not in others. Room-only guests pay at the door, listed at about VND 562,000 for adults in October 2026; children under 6 eat free and those aged 6–11 pay half.

Plan for comparing the breakfast and room-only lines before you choose. Avoid assuming every rate includes breakfast.

Corona Casino next door

The casino admits foreign guests aged 21 and over with a passport and issues a membership card on the first visit. Vietnamese citizens may enter only under a pilot scheme with income checks and an entry fee. Flip-flops and sandals are not allowed.

Plan for bringing your passport and closed shoes for the first visit. Avoid expecting casino spending to go on your room bill — it is a separate business.

Before you arrive at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc

01

Send your arrival time

The resort asks guests to email or call a day ahead with flight details and arrival time; it helps with early rooms and transfers.

02

Bring a card with room for the deposit

VND 5,000,000 per room is held at check-in. A card hold is easier than cash and is released after check-out.

03

Put requests in the booking

Cots, connecting rooms, high floors and dietary needs go in the special-requests box; then confirm them by email.

Honest note

Extra beds are expensive here — about VND 1.6 million for each night — so for families of four or five, a second room or the loft apartment can cost little more and give far more space.

More questions about policies at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc

Can I check in early at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?

Only if a room is ready, and it is charged: a travel-agency listing of the hotel policy gives the full room price for check-in before 10 am and half the price after 10 am, without breakfast. If you land in the morning, store your bags, use the pool and have lunch, or book the previous night so the room is yours on arrival.

Is the Radisson Blu deposit taken in cash or on a card?

Either. The resort accepts the VND 5,000,000 deposit per room by credit card or in cash. A card hold is easier: it is released after check-out once the room is checked, although your bank may take up to 14 days to show it. A cash deposit is handed back at the front desk when you leave.

How much is an extra bed at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?

Listings give about VND 1.59–1.61 million for each night for an adult extra bed, including breakfast, and about VND 1,035,000 for a child under 12. Villas take at most two extra beds. Because the charge is high, two rooms or a loft apartment can be the better deal for a family of five.

Is smoking allowed at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?

Only in designated areas and in rooms sold as smoking rooms; the resort lists both smoking and non-smoking rooms. Most booking pages default to non-smoking. If you need one, write non-smoking in the requests box and repeat it in an email a few days before arrival.

Do I need a visa to stay at Radisson Blu Phu Quoc?

Many visitors do not. Foreigners who fly straight into Phu Quoc on an international flight can stay on the island without a visa for up to 30 days under Vietnam’s special rule for Phu Quoc. If you clear immigration in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi first, you need a Vietnamese visa, an e-visa or a nationality-based exemption. Check the rules for your passport before you fly.

What currency does Radisson Blu Phu Quoc use, and can I pay by card?

Bills are in Vietnamese dong (VND). The resort takes major credit cards and cash, the front desk changes money and there is an ATM on site. Extras such as the minibar, room service and spa go on your room bill, and you settle the balance at check-out. Card fees depend on your bank.

No surprises at check-in

Policies read and the deposit planned; the last step is choosing a room type and a cancellation option that suit you.
